Weerathunga Tours & Hire is built on the hard work, dedication, and values of two generations. Our story began in 2007, when W. A. S. Weerathunga, the founder, started his first transport service with a single vehicle. What began as a small operation soon grew into a trusted staff transport service for leading companies such as North Sails Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, Stretchline (Pvt) Ltd, Dialog Axiata PLC, Silueta (Pvt) Ltd, and MAS Active Linea Intimo.

Through consistency, reliability, and a commitment to honest service, he expanded his fleet over the years and built a strong foundation of trust in the transportation industry.

In 2025, the next chapter of our journey began.
The business transitioned to the second generation, and on 1st July 2025, Weerathunga Tours & Hire was officially registered (Reg. No: WP/GAM/MR/2025/00806) focusing on tourism, private hires, airport transfers, and round tours across Sri Lanka.

Today, we proudly continue the legacy with a more modern, tourism-focused approach — offering clean, well-maintained vehicles, professional driving, and customer-friendly service to both local and international travelers.
